Yoga in the Workplace
I'm an experienced yoga and meditation instructor who has devoted my second career to sharing the benefits of mindfulness and conscious living to a variety of populations. In the beginning of my career, I was a corporate attorney, so I understand the toll that long hours, worry and high expectations can take on professionals. As a mother of grown children, I appreciate the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between work and family life and a realistic self-care practice.
With over 15 years of teaching experience and extensive training in yoga, eastern philosophy, meditation and mindfulness, I am constantly inspired to share yoga and mindfulness practices in the workplace as antidote to stress and tools for efficiency, better decision-making and greater emotional resilience and job satisfaction. My classes are often described as “moving meditations.”
I use precise instruction and a welcoming nature make the postures accessible to all levels of yoga and physical fitness. Students often leave my classes feeling challenged and accomplished, yet renewed and peaceful.
